04:30 NW corner of Wormwood Scrubs. Sun about 10° above horizon. Few wispy clouds. Heavy dew. Early mist dispersed
05:20 Soon after first contact. Clear blip seen. Bigger than expected.
05:25 View through 70mm refractor with solar filter in front of objective. Two small sunspots can be seen near the centre of the sun.
