Neither of these plants are where they started, but who cares?

This one is 8mm in diameter, and probably Planorbarius corneus I actually first saw them last weekend. I wonder how they got here

I won this marsh marigold in the raffle at the HPS meeting last week.

I must make sure it doesn’t overwhelm the bleeding heart just behind it. It’s said to be vigorous

Seen near NE corner in shallows

This is the first time I’ve seen water soldier in flower, if only for a few days.

The pond is doing well. The London pride, bleeding heart and epimedium are particularly good.

I forgot to cut back the old foliage a few weeks ago (the crazy weather didn’t help), but the flowers have come through well.

I thought this wasn’t doing well, and I still think it’s perhaps planted too deep, but it’s clearly still alive.
